A case of aerial firing has come to light during a DJ party in the posh area Urban Estate on Saturday night. After getting information about this, SHO of Thana City reached the spot with police force, but according to sources, everything was wrapped up before he reached. However, the police found a 45 bore shell from the spot, on the basis of which an FIR has been registered against unknown persons. Confirming this, DSP Sub-Division Deep Karan Singh said that the matter is being seriously investigated.
According to the information received from the police, a DJ party was going on late Saturday night in the house of Sukhdev Singh, son of Harbhajan Singh, resident of Urban Estate, to celebrate the new house. Meanwhile, a special informer informed that there is an atmosphere of panic among the people around due to aerial firing in the said party. After which SHO of Thana City Bikramjit Singh reached the spot with the police party. And he has recovered a 45 bore shell from the spot.
If sources are to be believed, not one or two but 50-60 rounds of aerial firing were done in the party, which created panic among the people, but before the police team arrived, all the shells and items were collected. At the same time, the live video of aerial firing was also deleted from social media. However, the police team reached the spot and talked to the party managers. Still, the police did not get any clue about those who fired in the air. The bungalow owners also said that they do not know who fired in their party, because they were busy in welcoming the guests. DSP Sub-Division Deep Karan Singh said that after a 45 bore shell was recovered in the said incident, an FIR has been registered against unknown persons and a serious investigation is being conducted.
