From the current situation of heat, we can guess that the heat will torment a lot in May and June. May and June are still far away, but there is a heat wave alert from the second week of April. In such a situation, the heat will make people sweat.

On the other hand, there is relief from heat at night. Because the night temperature is decreasing. Due to this, a slight coolness is felt in the morning, evening and night.The day temperature in Punjab on Thursday has been recorded above 37 degrees. The maximum temperature increased by 0.4 degrees compared to Wednesday. The maximum temperature has reached 2.4 degrees more than normal.

The minimum temperature of Punjab was continuously declining for the past few days, but the temperature increased by 2 degrees on Wednesday-Thursday night. At present, the night temperature is near normal, but the minimum temperature of Ludhiana, Patiala and Bathinda was recorded below normal. The Meteorological Department has predicted dry weather for the next six days, but at the same time, a heat wave alert has been issued in some places in Punjab for three days from April 7. It is clear from this that the temperature will rise further in the coming days.

Patiala has the highest temperature

On Thursday, Patiala recorded the highest temperature of 37.2 degrees. Amritsar’s temperature was 30.8, Ludhiana’s 34.6, Pathankot’s 32.6, Bathinda’s 35.2, Ferozepur’s 31.2, Faridkot’s 37.0 and Jalandhar’s 32.2 degrees. Pathankot recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 12.5 degrees in Punjab.

Jalandhar was the coldest at night

Amritsar recorded a minimum temperature of 15.3, Ludhiana 14.4 (0.7 degrees below normal), Patiala 14.2 (2.8 degrees below normal), Bathinda 14.6 (1.9 degrees below normal), Jalandhar 13.3, Faridkot 16.8, Ferozepur 14.3 degrees.
